The FMT-22 is an ultrasonic transit time flow meter that includes two transducers. The small transducer can measure flow in pipe sizes from 2 to 4 inches and a medium size transducer for pipes from 2 to 28 inches. There is an optional transducer for larger pipes. It is a non-invasive flow meter so the transducers mount on the outside of the pipe. It works with a variety of pipes and fluids but it should be used with relatively clean fluids and rigid pipes. Without knowing the specific details of the this application it is hard to say if it is a good choice for certain but it sound like it would be suitable.
