PyroCube G - Infrared Pyrometer for Glass Temperature Measurement

Regular price $2,579.00 Sale SKU:IR-CA-PCU-G7.0-2M-1V

  • Temperature Ranges from 100°C to 2400°C
  • Measured Spot as Small as 2.2 mm
  • Response Time as Fast as 10 ms
  • Continuous LED Sighting Shows the Position and Size of the Measured Spot while Readings are being Taken
  • Spectral Response of 5 µm
  • Multilingual Touch Screen Interface (optional)

The PyroCube is a family of non-contact infrared temperature sensors with built-in LED sighting. They have an extremely fast response time, and can precisely measure the temperature of a very small area. The continuous LED sighting illuminates the position and size of the measurement spot while readings are being taken without affecting the accuracy of the measurement.

The PyroCube G is a version of the PyroCube specifically designed to measure the temperature of glass surface temperature.  It has a spectral response of  5 µm which minimizes the reflection effects coming from the glass surface which may cause errors for other infrared pyrometers.   The PyroCube G7.0 and PyroCube G20 can measure glass surface temperature up to 1200°C  and is ideal for annealing. Example applications include light bulb and fluorescent lamp manufacturing.  The PyroCube GH2.2 and PyroCube GH4.5 have an even faster response time and smaller spot size. It can measure glass surface temperatures up to 2400°C which is well suited for glass melting applications.

Optional PM030 Touch Screen Interface Module

The PM030 is an optional multilingual touch screen interface module for the PyroCube sensor. The PyroCube can be used with or without the optional PM030. It functions as a standalone temperature indicator, alarm unit and configuration tool, and a selectable analog output allows it to be connected to further instrumentation.

All the settings of the PyroCube sensor are adjustable via the built-in touch screen interface. When an optional MicroSD Card is inserted into the PM030, the system functions as a fully-configurable temperature data logger.
