The infrared body temperature scanner thermometer is a wall mount contactless infrared temperature measurement device designed to automatically measure and display body temperature. It features fast measuring time, large easy to read LCD display, audible and visual alarm indications and and storage of the last 32 temperature measurements.
The scanner thermometer can be mounted on a wall using the included wall mount hardware or on a tripod using the tripod adapter. Using the device is simple and straight forward: place your hand or forehead within 5 inches of the thermometer to automatically detect temperature. If the temperature is within the alarm limits the LCD display will show the temperature and also provide an audible indication of a normal temperature measurement. When out of temperature limits, the device provides an alarm display as well as an audible alert of a high temperature condition.
The temperature scanner thermometer will also store the last 32 temperature measurements. The stored temperature points can be reviewed by using the scroll buttons on the side of the thermometer.
Automatic/Manual Mode
In the automatic mode the thermometer will automatically measure temperature when it senses an object in front of it. After 15 seconds the thermometer will return to standby mode. The thermometer can also be placed into the manual mode which allows a measurement to be taken when a button on the thermometer is pressed.
Alarms
The thermometer has four alarm states. The temperature at which the alarms trigger is fixed. Those temperatures and the alarm states are shown in the figures below.
