Accurate temperature measurement starts with a calibrated sensor. Until now, getting a new thermocouple calibrated meant sourcing the sensor, then finding a lab, shipping it out, and waiting to put it into service. We have folded that whole process into checkout, working with our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited partner laboratory to calibrate your thermocouple before it ships.
Two levels of calibration, so you only pay for what you need
Not every application calls for the same paperwork, so we offer two options:
NIST-Traceable Commercial Calibration. Measurements traceable to national standards, with a calibration certificate documenting the results at each point. This is the practical choice for general process use, internal quality checks, and routine verification.
ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited Calibration. Performed under the laboratory's accreditation scope and reported with measurement uncertainties. This is what you want when you need accredited, third-party results for regulated industries, formal audits, or a documented quality system.
Both come from the same accredited partner lab, and both are offered at prices we think you will be pleasantly surprised by. High-quality calibration should not cost a fortune, and with us it does not.
Standard points, or customize your own
Each calibration is a standard three-point calibration, performed at temperatures chosen to bracket the range most thermocouples actually operate in. If your process runs somewhere else, that is no problem: custom calibration points are available on request. Just reach out and tell us the temperatures you need, and we will arrange them with the lab before your order ships.
Done at the time of purchase
Because the calibration happens as part of your order, there is no separate shipment and no round trip to a lab on your end. You add the calibration to your thermocouple, we handle the rest, and everything arrives together with the certificate in hand. The calibration typically adds one to two weeks of lead time, and if you are working against a deadline we will do our best to accommodate it.
