The NTC-MOD temperature sensors are thermistor based thermistors.  Thermistors are low cost high accuracy temperature sensors whose resistance change as the temperature changes.  NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) thermistors decrease in resistance with increasing temperature and vice a versa. We offer two versions of the NTC-MOD.  The NTC-MOD1-TPE-3M includes a thermistor element encapsulated in TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) rubber.  The NTC-MOD2-304SS-3M includes a thermistor encapsulated in a stainless steel sheath. Both sensors feature an IP68 water proof rating and 3 meter cable.
