The HSTC is a hermetically sealed, waterproof, wire thermocouple with an IP67 rating which may be used in corrosive or wet environments.
The HSTC has a quick response time and can be easily cleaned. The impermeable PFA insulated flexible wire thermocouple provides exceptional resistance to oils, fluids, gases, and chemicals and is electrically isolated.
The thermocouple tip contains the beaded sensing connection, which is weld-sealed to give a continuous PFA coating along the entire length and provides an atmosphere that is airtight and moisture-proof.
Optional Thermocouple Calibration
This thermocouple can be calibrated at three standard temperature points before it ships, so it arrives ready to use with a calibration certificate for your quality records or audits. Choose NIST-Traceable Commercial Calibration for measurements traceable to national standards, or ISO 17025 Accredited Calibration when your quality system or customer requires fully accredited results. Custom calibration points are available at no extra cost. Calibration typically adds 1–2 weeks to delivery. Learn more about thermocouple calibration.
