The DC1-L-TH LoRa Temperature and Humidity Sensor is designed for accurate environmental monitoring in applications where reliable long-range wireless sensing is needed. Equipped with a high-precision Swiss-made sensor, it detects small changes in temperature and humidity to provide dependable environmental data.
The sensor offers typical accuracy of ±0.2°C for temperature from 0 to 65°C and ±2% RH for humidity from 10 to 90% RH. This makes it well suited for monitoring spaces where stable environmental conditions are important, including storage areas, production environments, smart buildings, and agricultural facilities.
LoRa Wireless Connectivity
Using LoRa wireless technology, the DC1-L-TH supports long-distance data transmission with low power consumption. Wireless deployment reduces the need for complex wiring, helping lower installation cost and allowing flexible placement across large facilities or distributed monitoring points. A single LoRa gateway can manage up to 100 devices, making it practical for large-scale sensor networks.
LoRa Transmission Distances
|
Environment |
Typical Range |
|
Open outdoor area |
Up to 1 km or more |
|
Standard factory environment |
Several hundred meters |
|
Office with multiple walls |
Approximately 50–300 m |
|
Basement / heavy metal environment |
Possibly only several tens of meters |
Local Data Storage
The device can store up to 50,000 sensor data records locally. If LoRa communication is interrupted, the sensor continues recording data to help maintain data integrity. Once communication is restored, the stored data can be retransmitted, helping safeguard environmental records.
UbiBot IoT Platform Integration
The LoRa Temperature and Humidity Sensor communicates with a GW1 LoRa gateway(sold separately), which connects to the UbiBot IoT platform via WiFi, mobile network, or RJ45 Ethernet depending on the gateway configuration. Users can access device data and monitor status from smartphones, tablets, or computers for convenient real-time environmental monitoring.
