With the PIE 525B you can check and calibrate all your thermocouple and RTD instruments to 0.1 & 0.01 F/C, and measure your temperature sensors. And the PIE 525B works with the thermocouples you normally use, or calibrate from -13.0000 to +80.0000mV. Or the PIE  525B works with the RTDs you normally use, and calibrate from 0.000 to 400.000 and 0.00 to 4000.00 Ohms (for RTDs the fixed or pulsed sensor current is measured by the calibrator)

You get fast calibration and automatic stepping with the PIE 525B. Easily set any value quickly to within 0.1 or 0.01C with the adjustable digital potentioemeter DIAL plus store any 3 temperatures for instant recall with the EZ-CHECK switch. Choose between 2, 3, 5, or 11 steps and ramp to automatically increment the output in 100%, 50%, 25%, 10% or 5% of span. Select step time from 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 60 seconds.

Measure thermocouple and RTD sensors and troubleshoot sensor connections with the PIE 525B. Probes can be measured to 0.1 or 0.01 C/F accuracy. And the internal cold junction thermisitor is accurate to +/-0.05C and is traceable to NIST.

The sensor in the PIE 525B is thermally bonded to an isothermal mass which includes brass blocks with screw terminal for connection of bare t/c wires along with a mini t/c connector for fast connections. This circuitry uses an extremely stable voltage reference and low drift components which makes the PIE 525B more accurate than other handheld and most benchtop t/c calibrators.
