The PyroMini2.2 is a miniature non-contact infrared temperature sensor with separate electronics modules.
It features an adjustable emissivity setting and is capable of measuring a wide variety of target materials, including food, paper, textiles, plastics, leather, tobacco, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, rubber, coal and asphalt.
The PyroMini2.2 is a version of our popular PyroMini for short-wavelength measurement for improved accuracy on reflective targets such as steel rollers and many other metal surfaces. The short wavelength measurement also provides improved performance on non-metal surfaces.
The PyroMini2.2 is available with an optional touch screen interface which provides temperature indication, alarms, sensor configuration and data logging to a MicroSD Card.
A choice of optics is available to measure small or large targets at short or long distances.

Please note: The
Please note: The given measured spot size contains 90% of the energy detected by the sensor. We normally recommend the target is at least twice as large as the given measured spot size contains 90% of the energy detected by the sensor. We normally recommend the target is at least twice as large as the given measured spot for maximum accuracy. Sensors may be used at longer distances than the above diagrams show. There is no maximum measurement distance in clean air, and accuracy does not change with distance; this is because the PyroMini detects only the wavelengths of infrared radiation that are not absorbed by the atmosphere.
