The DigiRail-OEE is an economical, versatile I/O module that has 6 digital inputs, 2 analog inputs, 2 digital outputs, RS485 interface, USB interface, Wi-Fi or Ethernet communication interface.  DigiRail-OEE can be used in a large variety of general purpose applications but it also has the features to be part of an OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and MES (Manufacturing Execution System) industrial systems.  It has the industrial approvals which ensure monitoring reliability in harsh environments. Its internal memory buffer provides data retention and integrity for eventual download, keeping the data logging seamlessly. The secure MQTT protocol is used to transmit data natively to Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, NOVUS Cloud, or any other compatible IoT cloud platform.

DigiRail-OEE is the ideal tool for reading sensors that monitor the operation of machines, devices, or processes. Among its many applications, this multi-input module can be used to monitor operation time and stand-by time and the amount of approved and rejected parts or monitor operating conditions in general. It can be integrated with MES, SCADA, and ERP systems

Analog Inputs
The DigiRail-OEE has two 15 bit analog inputs.  Those inputs may be configured for 0-5Vdc, 0-10Vdc, 4-20mA or 0-20mA.  The inputs may be scaled for engineering units.

Digital Inputs
DigiRail-OEE has six digital input channels that can be configured as counters or event loggers. The inputs can accept  PNP, NPN or Dry Contact signals. The signal may be triggered by rising edge, falling edge or both edges.  There is also a programmable debounce options used for dry contact inputs.

Digital Outputs
DigiRail-OEEE has two NPN digital outputs that can sink up to 700mA of current.

USB and RS485 Interfaces
The DigiRail-OEE has both a USB and RS485 communication interface.  The USB interface is typically used for configuration using the free downloadable NXPerience software. The RS485 communications uses the industry standard Modbus RTU protocol.

Chose Either Ethernet or WiFi Communications
There are two base models of the DigiRail-OEE available.  Chose either Ethernet communications or other WiFi communications.  The DigiRail-OEE uses Modbus TCP and MQTT industry standard protocols.

NXPerience (free download)



NXperience is a free configuration, data collection and diagnostic software.  This program allows you to explore all the features and details of the DigiRail-OEE, and communicates through USB interface, Ethernet, Wireless and RS485 Interface.

NXperience provides a user-friendly configuration interface, allowing input simulation and output forcing, locally through USB port and remotely through Modbus TCP. System diagnosis and maintenance become very easy thanks to the remote configuration and functions viewing.
