uIRt/c.SV is a micro sized non-contact infrared type k thermocouple that reads at a right angle. It has a 1:2 field of view, stainless steel body and it's self-powered so no additional power source is required for use. The low price makes this an ideal option for OEMs.

IRt/c’s are pre-calibrated at the factory  for typical target material emissive properties, but actual emissivities may differ. The accuracies specified assume that the pre-calibrated value is correct for your installation, or that the system has been calibrated at a single point for the application.  The calibration temperature is included in the part number, for example the uIRt/c.SV-K-440F/220C is calibrated at 440°F.  The error of this sensor at 10°F away from the 440°F, that is 430 or 450°F would be ± 0.4% of reading (1.7°F at 430°F)
