Although designed for conductive liquids, it has been successfully tested with propylene glycol and water mixtures up to 75 percent propylene glycol, exceeding the concentration used in most cooling loops. This makes it ideal for high density rack systems, including direct to chip liquid cooling and rear door heat exchangers. With dual detection channels covering up to 200 meters, the LD1 monitors beneath raised floors and along coolant lines for rapid, pinpoint leak detection that protects vital infrastructure.

When a leak is detected, the LD1 instantly activates bright visual indicators and an audible alarm to draw attention. Its relay output provides a 12V signal at up to 100 mA, which can directly trigger pumps, solenoid valves, or external alarms for immediate response.
